About Me
Alexander Mikhalskiy is a cofounder of Sportmaster, Russia's largest sports and fashion retailer, which he started with brothers Nikolay and Vladimir Fartushnyak. He also cofounded Ostin, a Russian fast-fashion retailer, with the brothers, both of whom are billionaires. In the early 1990s Mikhalskiy and his partners had a distribution business that supplied French consumer goods to the Russian market. They later became the exclusive distributor for German sports retailer Kettler and opened the first Sportmaster store in 1997.
