About Me

Caryn Seidman-Becker is cofounder and CEO of Clear Secure, which uses identification technology for security checkpoints at airports and stadiums. A former hedge fund manager, she and a colleague bought Clear's predecessor out of bankruptcy in 2010. In 2023 she expanded the company's identity-confirming services into digital healthcare records. This plus strong travel demand helped revenue grow to $990 million in 2025. After raising capital from investors including airlines Delta and United, she took the company public in June 2021 at a $4 billion valuation. She joined Home Depot's board of directors in 2022 and, previously, sat on the board of fintech Lemonade.
