About Me

Geoffrey Palmer is one of the largest apartment developers in Los Angeles, with more than 13,000 units in the greater L.A. metro area. Palmer got his start developing residential projects in Los Angeles in the 1970s before starting his own firm, G.H. Palmer Associates, in 1978. His first projects were condos in the Santa Clarita valley in north Los Angeles county; he built his first apartment complex in Santa Clarita in 1985. Palmer is a major financial backer of former president Donald Trump, donating nearly $20 million to his campaigns and PACs from 2016 to 2024. Palmer gained notoriety for his lawsuits against the city of L.A., most famously by successfully suing to block its affordable housing policy in 2009.
