About Me

Kanjibhai Virani is the cofounder of Indian snacks maker Balaji Wafers, which sells a range of items including packaged snacks, noodles and confectionery. Virani and his two brothers Bhikhabhai and Chandubhai, who help him run the company, entered the three comma club after selling a minority stake to private equity giant General Atlantic in January 2026. Before starting Balaji Wafers, the brothers were doing odd jobs at Astron Cinemas in the town of Rajkot in the western Indian state of Gujarat. The name "Balaji" was inspired by a temple in their hometown.
