About Me

Kwak Dong Shin is chairman and CEO as well as the largest shareholder of Hanmi Semiconductor, a manufacturer of semiconductor equipment in South Korea. Hanmi Semiconductor manufactures equipment used in semiconductor packaging, one of the final stages of chip production. Kwak joined Hanmi Semiconductor in 1998 and became its CEO in 2007. Hanmi Semiconductor was founded in 1980 by Kwak's father, No-kwon, a former Motorola engineer. Kwak also has a small but valuable stake in HPSP, a manufacturer of high-precision semiconductor equipment, which listed in 2022.
