About Me

Marc Lore is founder and CEO of Wonder, a food tech startup that bills itself as "a new kind of food hall." He founded Wonder in 2018, and it was valued by private investors at more than $7 billion in May 2025. The Staten Island native studied business and economics at Bucknell, then spent six years in banking before striking out on his own. Lore cofounded Diapers.com parent Quidsi in 2005 and ecommerce firm Jet.com in 2014. Jet.com sold to Walmart for $3.3 billion in 2016. He co-owns the NBA's Minnesota Timberwolves and WNBA's Lynx as part of a partnership with retired Yankees star Alex Rodriguez.
