About Me

Masahiro Miki owns a majority stake in discount shoe store chain ABC-Mart. ABC-Mart owns U.S. shoe brand Danner, which was added to its portfolio when it acquired LaCrosse Footwear in 2012. A former amateur boxer, Miki founded what was the precursor to ABC-Mart in 1985 in Tokyo, importing shoes and apparel. He stepped down as chairman of the publicly traded company in 2007.
