About Me

Oleg Misevra controls East Mining Company, a Russian thermal coal enterprise. Misevra, who served the Internal Troops of USSR and Russia, became a top manager and minority partner of the MDM Group, A WHATKT in the early 2000s. MDM was founded by Andrey Melnichenko and Sergey Popov, who both became billionaires buying industrial plants across Russia. In 2002, Misevra was elected as president of the Siberian Coal Energy Company (SUEK), the largest Russian thermal coal producer. He resigned as president of SUEK in 2004 and purchased the company's assets on Sakhalin Island.
