Richard Fortin is a cofounder and board member of Alimentation Couche-Tard, a Canadian convenience store giant that owns the Circle K chain. Couche-Tard does $73 billion in annual revenue across more than 17,000 stores. Fortin, a golf and fishing enthusiast, also owns stakes in the National Bank of Canada and Canadian packaging and publishing company Transcontinental.
