About Me
Shuo Wang is cofounder and chief revenue officer of HR software company Deel. In 2019, Wang started Deel with MIT classmate Alex Bouaziz to make it easier for companies to hire employees globally. Deel raised funding at a $17.3 billion valuation in October 2025 and surpassed $1 billion in annual recurring revenue earlier in the year. Wang moved to the U.S. from China when she was 16, then studied mechanical engineering with a focus on robotics at MIT. After college, Wang cofounded and was chief technology officer of air purifier maker Aeris; iRobot bought it in 2021 for around $100 million.
