Cruanes started Snowflake with fellow billoinaire Benoit Dageville and Marcin Zukowski in 2012. Snowflake went public in 2020 and raised $3.9 billion, in what was then the largest software IPO in U.S. history. Cruanes and Dageville met while working at Oracle.
