Yoichi Erikawa cofounded videogame developer Koei more than four decades ago with his wife Keiko Erikawa. The company, now called Koei Tecmo Holdings, trades on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The founders are stepping away from executive roles. Starting April, Yoichi, who is now CEO, will become chairman; and Keiko, who is now chairman, will become chairman emeritus. The company is known for its Samurai Warrior games. Hisashi Koinuma, currently executive vice president, is set to become president and CEO in June.
